TOUR CODE 001 TEMPLES & LAKES

Day 01 :: BHUBANESWAR ARRIVAL
Reception upon arrival by our representative and transfer to hotel. After fresh up visit of Bhubaneswar temples and caves. Afternoon visit of few Handcraft Cooperative Societies / stores and free at Ekamra Haat.

Morning after breakfast at hotel leave for sightseeing of Nandankanan zoological park (closed on every Monday). Then leave for Puri visiting on the way Dhauli (Peace Pagoda & Ashokan Rock Edict), 64 Yogini Temple at Heerapur, Pipli Village (famous for appliqué work), Konark Sun Temple, ASI Museum (closed on Friday) and Chandrabhaga Beach. Arrival at Puri and relax yourself at the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.

Day 3 :: PURI – CHILIKA LAKE – PURI
Early in the morning visit of Puri Jagannath Temple to witness the Morning Aarati (non hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises). After breakfast visit of Gundicha temple and Loknath temple. Then continue your drive to Chilika Lake (largest brackish lake in Asia & the home for migratory birds, dolphins and many more water animals). Back to Puri visiting Alarnath temple at Brahmagiri. If time permits again Evening Darshan of Puri Jagannath temple. Overnight at Puri.

Day 4 :: PURI – BHUBANESWAR DROP
After breakfast leave for Bhubaneswar airport or station on the way visiting Raghurajpur (famous for Patta Painting, Palm Leave engraving and Gotipua Dance) and Sakhigopal temple. Then in time drop you at the airport or station for onward journeys with sweet memories of Odisha.

DAY 04 :: BHUBANESWAR RAILWAY STATION/AIRPORT DROP
Morning visit to Nandankanan zoo (closed on Monday), State Museum (Closed on Monday & Local / National Holidays). Then in time transfer to airport / railway station for onward journeys.

After breakfast leave Gopalpur to visit Taptapani (Hot Sulpher Spring Water & Lord Siva Temple) and Chandragiri Tibettan Settlement. Visit their Monasteries and watch the rituals of Lord Buddha. Back to Gopalpur and overnight.

Day 3 :: GOPALPUR – BHAIRAVI TEMPLE – GOPALPUR
Morning visit to Bhairavi temple and back to Gopalpur. Afternoon free on the beach to enjoy the fisherman’s village. Overnight at Gopalpur.

You can go to the river bank of Rushikulya to watch the famous Olive Ridley Tortoises lying egg. Overnight at Gopalpur.

During the breeding season of Olive Ridley Tortoise come to this place to lay their eggs. You have the chance to witness the Tortoise laying eggs and may have the chance to see the eggs turning to small tortoise and going to the sea. Volunteers help the little ones to go to the sea. Then continue your drive to Gopalpur and overnight.

After breakfast leave for Chatikona weekly market of Dongariya Kondh Tribes. After visiting the market then leave for Jeypore on the way visiting few tribal villages. Overnight at Jeypore.

Day 3 :: JEYPORE - ONUKUDELI - JEYPORE (THURSDAY MARKET)
After breakfast leave for Onukudeli to visit the most primitive and colorful tribe called Bonda. Also visit few other tribes like Gadaba and Didayi. Back to Jeypore visiting few Gadaba Tribal Villages on the way.

Day 4 :: JEYPORE - KUNDULI MARKET - VISAKHAPATNAM DROP

After breakfast leave for Visakhapatnam airport visiting Kunduli market famous for the biggest vegetable market of Paroja Tribes. Then in time drop at airport or station for onward journeys.
