Itinerary

Day 01 :: Arrive in Srinagar
On your arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport, it is a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. We arrive at the hotel and check in. Later we will go on a 01 hr Shikara ride in the lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 :: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and will begin a short tour around the meadow familiarizing ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system (Directly Paying), and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley. Later back to Srinagar and check in hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 :: Srinargar – Pahalgam – Srinagar
We will begin our trip towards Pahalgam and drive on the National Highway 1A. This road connects the Valley to the rest of the country. We drive past the saffron fields of Pampore, the marvelous ruins of Awantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. You can even sample a few exotic breads sold by vendors near the road. We switch the the national highway at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam we check in at the hotel and later do some nature walks to unwind ourselves. You can also opt to spend your half a day of sightseeing by driving (Directly Paying) to the picturesque Chandanwari and Betaab valley or ride by horseback (Directly Paying) across the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows. After your return from the beautiful meadows you will spend the night at House boat and have amazing experience of this. Dinner and Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Day 04 :: In Srinagar - Local sightseeing – Halfa Day – Departure
Today we will do some half a day of local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan Mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. Later transferred to the airport for your flight to home.

Half day tour to world’s famous Mughal Gardens -The Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asif Khanin 1636 AD & The Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built in the memory of his beloved wife Noor Jahan in 1619, The royal spring of Chashma Shahi & one hour Shikara ride in the famous Dal Lake. Overnight stay at deluxe houseboat.

Day 02 :: SRINAGAR – KOKERNAG & ACHABAL – SRINAGAR
Full day excursion of Kokernag a fresh water spring with curative properties, a botanical garden full of roses, a flowing stream, the dense mountain-forests around with its serene and soul lifting atmosphere.

Achabal has a spring that seemingly flows out of Sosonsar hills but, in fact, the water is collected from a famous sweet water spring. It has been a pilgrimage centre for Centuries. The cool and fresh breeze rejuvenates the mind while imposing Chinar trees line the spring. At the evening, return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 :: SRINAGAR – YUSMARG – SRINAGAR
In the morning, move to Yousmarg. The place is located at an altitude of 7500 ft above sea level in the Pir Panjal Mountain Range. A perfect destination for nature lovers, Yusmarg give tourists the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of valleys, peaks and grassy meadows. Visitors here can also indulge in activities like trekking, skiing and pony riding. Nilnag, located at a distance of around 4 kms from the destination is a starting point for treks here. Day 04 :: SRINAGAR – DOODHPATHRI – SRINAGAR
Full day tour of Doodhpathri which is a beautiful place with carpet like meadows and a flowing river resounds with soft wind passing through the pine trees of the enclosures of the valley. It is also called as a VALLEY OF MILK because it produces rich milk in a large quantity. It is said that the cattle grazing in the meadows of Doodpathri, produces rich milk in large quantity, this reason it is called the valley of milk Doodhpathri in the evening, return to Srinagar. Day 05 :: DEPARTURE
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for onward journeys with sweet memories.

After that, visit the holy shrine of Shankaracharya temple situated at an altitude of 400 mts from the base. In evening enjoy Shikara ride on Dal Lake for 01 hour. Overnight stay at same houseboat.

Day 06 :: DEPARTURE
Early in the morning right after breakfast you will be transferred to your waiting vehicle in which you will be traveling onboard to the airport for your flight to home with sweet memories of life time.

Day 01 :: ARRIVAL AT LEH (3505 METERS / 11567 FEET.)
Arrive Kushok Bakula airport Leh - 3500m above sea level. Transfer to hotel. Breakfast at the hotel before 09.30 am. Half Day at rest for acclimatization. Lunch at the hotel. After lunch drive to visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace. Later in the evening walk around local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 :: TOUR OF HEMIS, THIKSEY SHEY MONASTERY 3 IDIOTS SCHOOL CAMPUS SINDHU DARSHAN
After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45 kilometers west of Leh. Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hillock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. After that, we continue to drive through series of Chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. 3 Idiots School Campus Sindhu & Darshan visit. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 :: LEH – ALCHI – LAMAYURU – ULLEYTOKPO
After breakfast drive to Lamayuru en-route sightseeing of 1000 year old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. After Lamayuru drive, back to Ulleytokpo. Overnight stay at the Ulleytokpo.

Day 04 :: ULLEYTOKPO – LEH
There after proceed to the Likir Monastery to visit the splendid three storey Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you'll be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues, Indus & Zanskar River Sangam. Drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Basgo Palace Hiking only and further onto Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 :: TOUR OF KHARDUNGLA PASS 18380 FT. NUBRA VALLEY & HUNDUR SAND DUNES (DRIVE 120 KMS 4/5HRS)
After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by afternoon. Rest of the day, post lunch free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 06 :: AFTER BREAKFAST PROCEED TO DISKIT MONASTERY WHICH IS 515 YEARS OLD
After breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same route crossing Khardungla Pass. Reach Leh by afternoon. Evening free time at Leisure to explore Leh market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 :: TOUR OF PANGONG LAKE (IT IS THE HIGHEST LAND LOCKED LAKE 155 KMS ONE WAY)
After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrives Pangong Lake – it is the highest Salt Water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks of Pangong Lake while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08 :: DEPART LEH
In the morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination with sweet memories of hills.
