Dwarka is one of the four most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites of India; Sri Krishna renounced war in Mathura for the greater good of the people living in the region (and was hence known by the name Ranchodrai') and founded the city of Dwarka. It is also the ancient kingdom of Shri Krishna and is believed to have been the first capital of Gujarat. Dwarka was a planned city, on the banks of Gomti River. For the safety of the people, Krishna and the Yadavas decided to move the capital from Mathura to Dwarka. It is remote feeling and interesting town. Sightseeing in Dwarka is Dwarkadish temple, Rukhmani temple, Gopi Talav (Pond), Nageshwara Jyotirling, Beyt Dwarka. Overnight at Dwarka.

Day 04 :: DWARKA – PORBANDAR – SOMNATH (VERAVAL) (240 KMS / 6 – 7 HOURS WITH S/S PORBANDAR)
Morning drives to Porbandar (120 KMS / 2.5 Hours). Then local city tour of Porbandar including Kirti Temple, Sudama Temple, Sandipani (Shri Hari Mandir) and then continue your drive to Somnath. Afternoon / evening visit of Somnath temple. Overnight at Somnath/Veraval.

DAY 05 ::BALARAM LOCAL TRIBAL VILLAGES
After breakfast visit tribal villages which are located around the hills bordering Gujarat and Rajasthan, the Gowala and Garacia are primarily sheepherders, known for their unique culture and traditions. The Gowala and Garacia tribes are second cousins to each other, differing only in the manner of living. While the Gowala are more settled, the Garacia are still wanderers, and their women dress in slightly less ostentatious manner than the Gowala females. Overnight stay at Balaram.

Day 06 :: BALARAM – PATAN – LITTLE RANN OF KUTCH (100 KM / 02 HRS)
After breakfast proceed to Patan. Arrive Patan and visit one of the families of Patola weavers, known for their unique Patola art. The fact that one Patola sari can take up to six months to complete. Proves that how difficult and demanding is the Patola Art. Also visit the famous 11th Century Rani-ki-vav (step well). Continue drive into the Little Rann of Kutch. Overnight stay at the cottages.

Day 07 :: LITTLE RANN OF KUTCH
After breakfast visit of Rabari and Banjara. They are the two important tribes of the region. While the Rabari, the most nomadic of Gujarat’s tribes, constantly migrate in search for better grazing ground for their camels and sheep. The Banjara and other tribes have settled here. Also visit home to endangered Asiatic Wild Ass, the area is known for its unique wildlife and birds. Overnight stay at the cottages.

Day 08 :: LITTLE RANN OF KUTCH - AHMEDABAD (95 KM / 02 HRS)

Day 01 :: ARRIVAL AHMEDABAD

Day 02 :: AHMEDABAD
After breakfast, we visit the Calico Museum Marshall (closed on Wednesday), Ahmadabad is situated on the banks of Sabarmati River and has a flourishing textile industry. Ahmadabad earning the title of "Manchester of the East." A collection of such wholeness is displayed in the Calico Museum. Later we visit the Swaminarayan temple Marshall and the Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar, on way back en route to visit the Adalaj Step well. Later visit Jain Temple and Rani Hateesingh Rupvati's mosque. Also visit the ashram of Mahatma Gandhi-an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03 :: AHMEDABAD – PALITANA
We shall begin our tour with a heritage walk alongwith the historical society to Swaminayaran first temple and later to the city. Ahmedabad is packed with beautiful carved wooden facades of havelis, temples local tiny, hidden passageways and vibrant local life. The tour concludes at Jama Masjid, the main mosque of Ahmedabad, with Its huge courtyard and spectacular central worship hall. Later drive on the way towards Palitana, visit to Lothal an archaeological site that was important eleven abode of the ancient city dating back Indus Valley Civilization to 2400 BCE. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 :: PALITANA - GONDAL
Palitana is a major pilgrimage centre of Jains. There are more than 1300 temples located on the Shatrunjaya hills. Later drive to Gondal, the heart of the small former principality. In the afternoon visit the Navlakha Palace, which was built in the 18th century and houses some of the collection of arts and treasures gathered by the royal family of Gondal. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

DAY 05 ::GONDAL
Following day we shall leave for a day excursion to Junagadh to visit the ancient Uparkot Fort, Gothic palaces of the Nawabs, massive step-wells, and the ostentatious 19th Century mausoleum complex. Return to Gondal, calling in en route visit to the 4th century Buddhist caves of Khambalida. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06 :: GONDAL – DASADA
After breakfast depart en-route Dasada visit to the museum Watson at Rajkot Which is home to early Indus Valley Civilization artefacts, textiles, paintings and colonial memorabilia. On arrival at Dasada, check in to hotel. Later enjoy the jeep safari Rann of Kutch into the-home to large number of animal species Including Khur (Asiatic wild ass), Nilgai (blue bull), desert fox, a huge bird and Population. Day 07 :: DASADA - DANTA
Early morning we shall leave from Dasada to visit the Sun Temple at Modhera built in 11th century. Continue journey to Patan and visit the Ranki Vav step-well that has staggeringly intricate carving. Further drive the foothills of the Aravali mountain range and reach Danta. At arrival check into a hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08 :: DANTA – AHMEDABAD
Gear up for an early stroll through the hills - the area around the homestead is home to tribal people who adhere to ancient agricultural practices and live simple lives in harmony with their surroundings. After breakfast, depart Danta and drive to Taranga where there are 12th Century Jain Temples. Continue to Ahmedabad and check in at hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 :: AHMEDABAD – VADODARA
After breakfast depart Ahmadabad for Vadodara (formerly Baroda) a city of significance in the history of Gujarat. Navarātrī or Garba is the city's largest festival, with song, dance and lights during every October. There are impressive palaces like the one as Laxmi Vilas, of which two areas are open to the public. Proceed on to Champaner and Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage listed site where the highlights include an impressive central mosque (Jama Masjid), step-wells, citadel and significant fortifications. Day 10 :: VADODARA DEPARTURE

Day 02 :: BALASINOR TO CHHOTA UDEPUR
Early morning after breakfast depart for Chhota Udepur via Champaner - The transition between Hindu and Muslim culture and architecture in the late 15th to early 16th century is documented in the park, particularly the early Islamic and pre-Mughal city that has remained without any change. It was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2004. After Champaner reach to Kaliniketan Palace, check in to hotel and after fresh en up visit tribal area with local forests, mountains and rivers. The main tribes are the Rathwas, Bhils, Kolis and Naiks. The Rathwas being a martial race and are the major tribe in the area. Feel the culture of local tribes, The main occupation of these tribes is farming, while the Rathwas have created an art form called the Pithora paintings, which they paint using special vegetable dyes and examples of it are evident in different villages. Their pottery work is unique to this area and worth seeing. There are colourful “HAATS” (Tribal fairs), held every day in nearby villages which are the marketing days for the tribal’s. Day 03 :: CHHOTA UDEPUR
Early morning after breakfast depart for Chhota Udepur via Ratan Mahal Sloth Bear Sanctuary Spread out over 56 sq km, Ratan mahal-on the Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh border-is the only exclusive sloth bear sanctuary in Gujarat. And sloth bears are just part of the attraction: nature fulfils herself in many other ways; the River Panam criss-crosses beautiful small hamlets on the foothills of this sanctuary covered with lush green and thick woods full of natural goodness. Some of the animals found are sloth bears, panthers, large-size monkeys, jackals, antelopes and hyenas, besides other numerous jungle cats, foxes, honey badgers, hare, porcupines and reptiles. DAY 05 ::SAPUTARA – DANG – SAPUTARA
Early morning after breakfast depart for Dang, Engage into any of these routine activities: Milking cattle, Breaking shell of the paddy by traditional way, making floor using chakki (a pair of cylindrical stone), Dung Flooring, Bamboo art work, Chopping wood, etc. See the tools of traditional hunting (the tribes have stopped hunting now since they have started realizing the importance of showcasing wildlife in natural habitat as a tool for generating income. Participate in preparation of authentic organic dinner with tribes (learn insights of making food in traditional way). Return to Saputara and Night halt in Saputara.

Day 06 :: SAPUTARA – DANG – VADODARA
Early morning after breakfast depart for Baroda via Dang, in dang we will take walk to Forest Trek – Tribes will showcase forest resources used for their living, Plant a Tree or Water to the plantation done for conserving the forest and get chance to see the wildlife into the natural habitat. Realize the importance of Sustainable living by going through the living habits of tribes – Use of Fish Tank (to avoid mosquitoes), The Organic way of Preserving Grains, Organic Farming Techniques, Conditions in Wedding, etc. In the noon depart for Baroda (288km driving), Night halt in Vadodara.

Day 07 :: VADODARA - LOTHAL – VELAVADAR
Early morning after breakfast depart for Velavadar, via Lothal - it is one of the most important sites of the Harappan or Indus Valley Civilisation excavated in India. The site and the museum offers an interesting insight into the town planning, industries and trade of Lothal when it was at its peak from 2400-1600 BC. The museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm except Fridays. After Lothal sightseeing depart for Velavadar, check in to hotel fresh en up and after dinner night halt in Velavadar.

Day 08 :: VELAVADAR – GIR FOREST
Early morning after breakfast visit Velavadar National Park for blackbuck safari, which has India’s largest population of Blackbuck, the elegant Indian antelope. One of the fastest mammals in the world, the Blackbuck is capable of achieving high speeds when leaping over the plains of Velavadar. India’s largest antelope, the Nilgai or Blue Bull, is easily seen in this national park. We can hope to see the endangered Indian Grey Wolf, the nocturnal Striped Hyena, Indian Fox, Golden Jackal, Jungle Cat and many small mammals like hare, gerbil, field mice, mongoose and hedgehog. After safari depart for Sasan Gir (235km driving), Check in to hotel, fresh en up and night halt in Gir.

Day 09 :: GIR FOREST
Early morning after breakfast depart for LION SAFARI in Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary which is famous for Asiatic lions and it comprises 1412 sq km of deciduous forest interspersed with semi-evergreen and evergreen flora, acacia, scrub jungle, grasslands and rocky hills. Fed by perennial and seasonal rivers and streams, the sanctuary has large water bodies like the Kamleshwar Dam that are good for crocodiles and birds. In the evening return to resort and free time for bird watching in Resort. Night halt in Gir.

Day 10 :: SASAN GIR – JAMNAGAR
Early morning after breakfast depart for Jamnagar, Check into the hotel and refresh after lunch by 3: 30 in the noon, depart for the Khijadiya bird sanctuary where you can find storks, ducks, and many migratory birds till sunset, return to hotel and night halt in Jamnagar.

Day 11 :: JAMNAGAR
Early morning after breakfast, visit salt pan areas and port area where we can find greater and lesser flamingos. At 10:30 AM high tide is scheduled so after an early lunch start at 1 reach Narara by 2:30 PM. Start the coral walk on the beach. we may see the Sting ray, crabs, octopus, puffer’s sea anemones, dolphins if you are lucky.

Day 12 :: JAMNAGAR – NAKHATRANA
Early morning after breakfast depart for Nakhatrana, Reach nakhatrana by lunch time take rest and after noon we will depart for Nakhatrana wild life sanctuary in Kutch. The rare ecosystem with mix of desert, beaches hills and grass land has a lot of variety to offer. You can find stripped hyenas, desert fox, porcupines, Indian civet, Indian pangolin, variety of reptiles, venomous and non venomous reptiles and monitor lizard and star tortoise. Chinkaras can also be found here return to resort and night halt in Nakhatrana.

Day 13 :: NAKHATRANA
Early morning at 5: 30 AM before breakfast visit Nalia for Varieties of unique birds like the Great Indian bustard are found in this region. Look around for the Black and Gray Francolin, the Spotted and Indian Sangrouse, Quails, Larks, Shrikes, Coursers and Plovers. you can also see flocks of Indian Gazelle and wolfs spotting the entire landscape, while a drive around the sanctuary will acquaint you to the friendly nilgais. After an extensive flash of various mammals and reptiles, return to resort by 10 AM, take breakfast and rest for the day. Night halt in Nakhatrana.

Day 14 :: NAKHATRANA – DHORDO
Early morning after breakfast depart for Dhordo, check in to resort fresh en up and after lunch visit white desert, Banni Region - which amidst the Desert land of infinite dimensions, are suspended, quaint little villages. These are the last villages on the India-Pakistan border. Here you will come across master craft people' exposing their traditional art, turning out master pieces every day. Their ornaments, clothes, utensils, everything they use - will make you feel as if you have stepped into lifestyle museum leaving you spellbound. Khavda - a Small village, One can visit to Khatrivas to see artisans printing & selling Ajrakh. The town also has skilled Leather Craftsmen and there are some shops retailing local crafts, including Leather Slippers. In the evening return to resort and Night halt in Dhordo.

Day 15 :: DHORDO
Early morning after breakfast depart for KALO DUNGAR (BLACK HILLS) - Kaladungar also known as the Black Hills, overlooks the spectacular Rann, the view from the top is a sight that one can never forget. One can spot some rare species of white foxes these beautiful, frisky animals staying in the wild respond to the call of the temple priest as he beats a steel plate yelling "langa" to suggest that food has been laid out for them. On way to return visit Some of the more important villages Niroona (Rogan Art and Bells), Hodko and Ludiya, a permission is to be taken from the check post to visit this area due to its proximity with Pakistan.

Day 16 :: DHORDO – DASADA
Early morning after breakfast depart for Dasada via Bhujodi, Just 8 km southeast of Bhuj, Bhujodi is a major textile center of Kutch, with the vast majority of the 1200 inhabitants involved in textile handicraft production. Here you can meet weavers, tie-dye artists and block printers, most of whom belong to the Vankar community. you can watch them work and depart for Dasada, reach to resort by evening and night halt in Dasada.

Day 17 :: DASADA
Early morning after breakfast we will depart for safari in LRK (Little Rann of Kutch), which is well-known as the remaining habitat of the endangered Indian Wild Ass, Nilgai (blue bull), the largest antelope in India can be seen during the drives. Indian Wolf, Indian and White-footed Desert Foxes, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena and Fishing Cat, and smaller mammals like hares, hedgehogs, gerbil and field mice are seen in the sanctuary. Return to resort and rest for whole day. Night halt in Dasada.

Day 18 :: DASADA – NALSAROVAR - AHMEDABAD
In the morning after early check out of 5:00 AM depart for Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, which is Mainly inhabited by migratory birds in winter and spring, it is the largest wetland bird sanctuary in Gujarat, and one of the largest in India. Which attracts over 210 species of birds in the winter, and harbours a variety of flora and fauna. Thousands of migratory waterfowl flock to this sanctuary just after the Indian monsoon season. The shallow area and ponds on the outer fringes of the lake attract the wading birds that feed in the shallow waters. this migratory bird population includes Rosy Pelicans, Flamingoes, White Storks, Brahminy Ducks and Herons. After bird watching we will depart for Ahmedabad, check in and after fresh en up we shall move out for Sightseeing around the city. WE shall first visit Sabarmati Ashram / Gandhi Ashram. This place speaks volumes about Mahatma Gandhi as a leader, a mentor and as a person as well. Later we shall move towards Adalaj step well, not very far from Gandhi Ashram. A "Step well" is a unique feature of the dried western India. This particular step well is almost 600 yrs old and runs up to 5 stored below the ground. . A MUST SEE for architectural lover. Return to the hotel for a lavish traditional meal at the roof top restaurant. Night halt in Ahmedabad.

Day 19 :: DROP TO THE AIRPORT
After breakfast, depart for Ahmedabad airport as per your time of Departure. Further journey with happy memories.
